Great host, great location

Sept 24-27, 2023
My wife and just finished our 2 week Italy vacation with 4 days in Rome. Antonia's Home was a great option for us. We were able to walk everywhere pretty easily. There are good restaurants near by, a grocery market, and plenty of Gelaterias!
Thank you Antonia.

Thank you Todd, it has been a real pleasure hosting you. Hope to meet you personally in the future, either in Rome or in Spoleto. Thank you for being such a good guests 🙂

Great Location in Rome

We just recently completed our stay in Rome, the first time our family has been there. The location of the property was central and the apartment worked well for our family. The kitchen was well supplied and the bathroom worked well for our family of four. It was a quiet location and we enjoyed exploring some of the restaurants and markets close by. Thank you Antonia for being available to answer any questions we had about the apartment!

Thank you Andrew and family, it was a real pleasure hosting you and hope to see you in the near future eiher in Rome or in the magical Spoleto.

Lovely Apartment

July 1-5, 2023
We had a lovely stay at Antonia’s apartment. It is centrally located and we walked to all the popular sites, as well as adjacent neighbors to view non-tourist areas. There are many good restaurants close by, as well as a Carrefour grocery store. It was the perfect place to pick up some meats, cheeses, olives and wine to relax “at home” after a full day of touring in the heat and sun. The apartment has everything you need - a comfy bed and good water pressure in the shower. The washer was a plus.

Antonia responded very quickly to the few questions we had during our stay, which was greatly appreciated. Highly recommend this VRBO for a stay in Rome.

Thank you for your lovely review and happy you enjoyed the apartment and the neighborough 🙂

Antonia’s Rome Home

Antonia’s apartment location is ideal; 30 yards away from a well-stocked grocery store, a block and a half from the Spanish Steps, the MEA (Subway) and in the midst of a neighbourhood packed with dozens of wonderful restaurants and shops in all price ranges. Almost every day, we would walk 10 minutes to Villa Borghese, a beautiful 200-acre Park, high up on a hill overlooking Rome and Vatican City. St. Peter’s Basilica, the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon and Piazza Navona are all within a half hour's walk from Antonia’s location.

We walked, rode the buses and/or subway nearly every night (visited for about 7 weeks), many times after 10 pm, and always felt safe wherever we were in Rome.

Antonia’s home had every amenity we needed - with especially good water pressure and lots of hot water!

Perhaps the best reason to choose this location is how communicative Antonia is during the check-in process, and how helpful she was during our stay, recommending ‘insider’ tips on the best museums and tourist destinations.

Antonia is a Rome resident, and her family has been in Rome for hundreds of years. Her knowledge of the city was invaluable.

Thank you dear friends!!!!

The perfect stay!

I stayed with my wife and two children in Antonia's apartment in Rome in October 2022. Antonia was a wonderful host. She was quick and efficient with her communications and she provided us with lots of information tailored to our family. The information on her website about where to visit and good places to eat are also really helpful (we loved La Buvette especially). The apartment is in a fantastic location, close to the Spanish Steps, and is very well equipped and comfortable for a family of four. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Thank you for everything!

Thank you and loved hosting such a wonderful family! I loved your two daughters and hope one day they will meet with m granddaughter. Thank you for the promptness in answering all my bureaucratic requirements and taking good care of my property, I do really appreciate it. Hope to see you in the near future.

Via Vittoria at AntoniaHome

An amazing apartment in the heart of the best part of Rome but tucked away on a quiet street. Lots of shopping, wonderful food, wine, spritzes and gelato only steps away! 10 minutes to the Pantheon, Fontana Trevi, Spanish steps, Piazza Novana, and the metro. The apartment itself is very large and feels like home. You'll not regret staying in this beautiful place in this amazing city!

Happy to read you enjoyed your stay at my place. Keep in touch, so honored to have met such a wonderful person.

My time in Rome and Spoleto

I don't usually take the time to write reviews. But I cannot get over how magical my time was in the 2 apartments that Antonia has on offer. To start, Rome was magical. The apartment is literally steps from the Spanish Steps and anywhere else you would want to walk to and explore. The beautiful space instantly makes you feel like you are more than just a tourist. Tucked away on a side street with delicious cafes and fantastic shops (including a shoe store that I visited more than once ) you instantly get drawn into the swirl of life in Rome. I cannot imagine a better place from which to start your explorations of Rome.

Spoleto: Blown away. First of all, Antonia is an amazing host and welcomed us to her beautiful town of Spoleto. The apartment in Spoleto is stunning and filled with charm including a rooftop from which one can gaze at the hills and enjoy a morning coffee. It is an excellent base for exploring Umbria or just staying put and enjoying all the charm of Spoleto.
It was an easy train ride from Rome!
I will be back.

It was a pleasure getting to know you and sometimes hosting people is a blessing, is a coincidence that if not you would have never received it! Time passed together was too fast and short and do hope our paths will cross again.

The perfect spot!

My wife Ali and I were so incredibly blessed to stay at this property. For starters, we've never had a host quiet like Antonia. She feels more like a friend than a host. She always kept us up to date with a calendar of events in and around Rome. Communication with her was so easy and was always a pleasure. We felt like if we needed anything at all she would bend over backwards to help us. The location of this apartment can't be beaten! We rarely rode the metro, as every major tourist attraction was 30 minutes or less by foot from the apartment. It was a great space to prepare a meal, sleep in, or just relax in after a long day exploring the beautiful city. We were lucky enough to even get some homemade marmalade made by Antonia herself! Should we return to Rome, we will definitely book with Antonia again. This apartment is an absolute gem. Thanks again, Antonia!

Thank you Ali and Rick, You have been a gem of guests! A real pleasure hosting you 🙂

Our stay in Rome

What can I say? Paul and I had the most wonderful time in Antonia's apartment in Via Vittoria. The location is terrific and the apartment spacious and comfortable. (especially the huge bed) The view of the street below from the lounge and bedroom was amazing and so different from home. We loved the atmosphere and the energy of the city. Antonia met us when we arrived to show us around the apartment and the personal touch means a lot. She gave us some strawberries which were delicious. The location of the apartment is perfect. A short walk to the Spanish steps and in fact we were able to see everything on foot. We discovered the basilica at the end of the street on the first day and thought it was amazing- Ambrogii e Carlo. Antonia also had lots of great suggestions and recommendations for things to do which was a great help. She loves the city and that shows in her feelings. All in all a memorable stay and we would both love to return one day. Thank you Antonia for making our first joint visit to Rome so special.
